This little wildflower stays low, but can spread up to 1' wide which makes
it excellent along pathways and borders.  The flowers rise above the
rounded dark green foliage about 6" on a stalk that grows sideways
and bears multiple light pink flowers up to an inch in diameter.   This
wildflower is great for dry gardens as it is not only drought tolerant,
it is perennial in mild climates.  Best in sandy or well drained soils,
it will bloom from mid March through summer with a little extra water
once a week.  Butterflys love this one!
